Just a short note of praise and recommendation for Noah Cook and his business, ARK Home Improvement. I first had the opportunity to speak with Noah quite by accident over a year ago when the Lloyd Avenue Condominium Association was soliciting bids to have the building painted. As part of the team obtaining quotes, I was assigned the letters at the beginning of the alphabet. I have to say that Noah was very prompt in returning my calls and answered all of our questions in a timely manner.  After several meetings and much discussion he was awarded the job. He was neither the highest nor the lowest of the contract offers, but I felt that we had good communication throughout the process, and he completed all the tasks to which the involved parties agreed.  (Note that the Condo Association was on a limited budget, as the building is quite old (constructed about 1890, located on the East Side of Providence) and needed more that one major job done (roof, parking lot, painted) in a short period of time.  When Noah observed that some additional upper level work needed to be done, we worked together to address the problem.

Last week I had the opportunity to call on Noah again, for personal work in that very same structure. Because I had been please before, I did not hesitate to do so. He did not disappoint. Just as before, he returned my calls quickly, and in fact,   a few times I was even able to speak with him directly on the first try! (When does that happen?)  He assembled a team to do some odd jobs for me—I was on a very tight time budget and he juggled his schedule to exceed my expectations, without much notice on my part.

Over the years (I have been a homeowner for 20+ years) I have come to rely on competent, capable, trustworthy people who communicate clearly in a timely fashion, and then follow through. I feel this is especially important in our current economic climate, with all people overworked and on limited budgets. It is a pleasure for me to put Noah Cook in that category, and I would be happy to provide a reference if requested.

Sincerely,

Ellen A.
